What a week!
The Young Adult Department hosted three great events in one week! We ran Get Wired, a Halo LAN party, and the first meeting of the Ani-Manga Club, all within seven days of each other. Not coincidentally, it was National Library Week, and I think we celebrated in style.
Ani-Manga has decided to meet every other week, at least for a while, because we can't wait a whole month to see the next three episodes of Fruits Basket. Everyone had a blast at the first meeting. That little rat was so cute! If you want to come to the next meeting, but missed the first part of the story, we'll be more than happy to fill you in on what happened -- or you can check out the first five volumes of the manga, which should be available on shelf by then. Next meeting will be on April 24th at 4:00. Call and let me know if you're coming!

Yes, the rat was SOOOO cute! Yuki is adorable as a human as well. Anyway! I hope you get to order both Trigun books next month, Mrs. M. It's the episondes in book from, so they should be great, I know the first one was!
I decided to go ahead and order Trigun 1 and 2 today because you asked for them! Do you want us to call you when they get here? (Should be about a month)
A month!? O_O! That's a long time... Best e-mail me anywho. Who knows when my cell will have minutes... But yes, I would like to know when they come in. I'm going to check out Alice 19th, it looks like it should be good.
You should also have a look at Sakura Taisen when we get it out on shelf. Volumes 1 and 2 are being processed right now, and 3 is on order. It's my new favorite title - a really interesting story.
I never heard of it before, but I'll try it. I really like Alice 19th! It's soooo good! I let Julie borrow the first one. She seems optimistic about it. But we still love Rurouni Kenshin! ^_^x <- Kenshin face! It's so cute. Anyway, did you order more FMA? I know there should be a lot of people are waiting for it. I know I am!
Fullmetal Alchemist 6 came in last Friday and someone has it checked out already. Number 7 is due out the second week in May. We'll have it as soon as we can!
Operation Anime has FMA 1 and 2 that we could get for the Ani-Manga Club. Maybe we should consider that, for when we're through with Fruits Basket.
FMA is good as an anime as well. I watched most of the episodes when they were on Cartoon Network.
